One visit to the campgrounds in Oak Bluffs and you'll come away with a visual of what the 1800's may have been like. The Ginger Bread Houses are a main attraction on Martha's Vineyard and one can find all types of unique and decorative architecture in this small quaint community. The pink house is probably one of the most photographed homes in the old camp grounds. It represents the typical style one expects to see on their tour. Camp Grounds in the winter after a snow storm is truly a treat. The quiet atmosphere with a light snow falling feels like you have been removed to another world. The snow covered homes with their bright colors showing through really is reminiscent of a gingerbread world. Edgartown Harbor at the Edgartown Yacht Club in the dead of winter. Not a soul is stirring except maybe the old sea captain sprits. Edgartown is a busy summer resort but winter brings a quiet quickly forgotten in the middle of the summer season. Here is a great reminder of the Vineyard on a snowy winter day.
